WHAT: After the bout in the fight club, Herbert is not exactly a patient ...patient, to the dismay of the hospital staff or the glee of anyone come to check on him
WHEN: The evening of September 23rd or so (Sorry for the backdating, this month got crazy)
WHERE: The clinic
WARNINGS: Pain, possibly blood, definitely stubbornness and snark.

Herbert might be no stranger to hospitals, given his line of work. It's another matter when he finds it's his turn to be the one in need of medical attention. He might have proven a difficult patient when he was brought in after the fight, likely insisting he could take care of his own injuries, thank you very much. Likely, he had to be sedated.

The morning after the bout, he's going to try and check out, hunting for his clothes or a clean set he keeps in his locker, sneaking out of his room, trying to use his inconspicuousness to his advantage. He likely shed the sling his dislocated shoulder was in, but he'll still limping from the twisted knee, and he might have a visible deep scratch on his face, now taped shut, as well as a few visible bruises. Should someone from Valletta come to check on him, he's likely to press gang them into sneaking him out. And the hospital staff will have to keep him in line at least for another day.

[ He's gone. That's the only explanation. Or well, the only one plausible after airing his 'Wanted' ad and finding out that no, nobody has seen him since. While it's not necessarily a bad thing (Lussuria's reign back home has lasted to long as it is; if Boss went back at least there's hope the Varia uniforms won't be reglamented as leather thongs for long), Squalo is still unhappy about still being here himself. ]

[ He's found one of those completely ridiculous, stupid feather hair ornaments in Xanxus's flat. ]

[ He's braided it into his hair before going out, because fuck the fashion police. ]

[ He's sitting in one of the many city's bars, probably the one that looks like an absolute hole from the outside but surprisingly fancy once you enter it. Head propped on one hand, he swirls his n-th drink in its glass before downing it. It's tequila today. ]

[ He turns to glare at whoever might be in near vicinity to him, not looking particularly concerned about who it is. ]

I can't fucking believe he left me behind.

[ ...because obviously Xanxus disappearing means he broke off the damned system and went home, because he's awesome like that. Squalo's faith in him is probably going to outlive the end of the world, at least three times. ]

This has been an unusual week, with these standing appointments involving a fight club, to say nothing of the fight club itself: the notion intrigues him. Who organized it and why? How did it come on so suddenly, and why such odd pairs of fighters? It might be in the staff lounge that Watson might find him jotting in a bound paper journal, taking notes.

II - For patients, especially the fight club participants

To the patients coming in, Muraki is an attentive and precise physician, warm yet professionally so, concerned for their well-being yet keeping to proper boundaries. He seems to welcome their injuries as challenges while yet keeping their comfort and healing in the front of his mind.

III - Wildcard

Anything you can come up with that would fit: if not at the clinic, he's likely to be found in the red light district, or relaxing in a cafe, or in bar. Surprise me!

I - Catch a glimpse of the hollow world - Closed to Adachi

Naoto was doing homework when the lights went out. Annoying, but nothing to panic about... until her TV started fuzzing in a very familiar way. No...it couldn't be, could it? She watched in horror at the static until the mechanical voice came on. Swearing loudly, she ran out of her apartment, without even bothering to get her hat or lock her door, and started pounding on Adachi's door.

"ADACHI! OPEN THIS DOOR NOW." Most of the hall could probably hear her shouting.

II - Snooping 'round town will get you nowhere - Open

The next day, it wasn't hard to find out about the burned-out candy store, and she was there, as soon as possible in the morning, bringing coffee to the officers with a innocent smile. However, she was actually investigating, carefully looking through the rubble for anything particularly useful, familiar, or anything that could tell her what went on or who might be behind it.
